Danvers Select Board Candidate Lantini Touts Union, Town Experience in Campaign Video

DANVERS -- April 22, 2025, Danvers Select Board candidate Mark Lantini made his pitch to voters in an April 22 campaign video aired on the town's community access TV station ahead of the May 6 election. Lantini, a lifelong Danvers resident and BU graduate, cited 10 years of town employment and his tenure as president of Local 1098, the union representing town workers, as his core qualifications. He also highlighted 15 years as a youth football coach, nine years as a Little League coach, and three decades with the Legends Club of Danvers, where he served as past president. His stated platform priorities are fiscal responsibility, revenue enhancement without new taxpayer burdens, employee retention and recruitment, and downtown revitalization without what he called "excessive modernization." No other candidates or board members appeared in the segment, and no votes were taken.
