Danvers Select Board elects Djoko Chair; approves wine license and garden gift.

Danvers Select Board unanimously elects Dutrochet Djoko as Chair. The Board voted 5-0 to elevate Djoko, who replaced Maureen A. Bernard.
The Board also voted 4-1 to approve a One Day Wine & Malt License for Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School on June 3, 2026, with Michael D. Bean voting against. DPW Director Stephen King and Land Use & Community Services Director Aaron Henry reported downtown revitalization progress on lighting and paving but acknowledged timeline delays and decided to pause the community gathering space due to mixed public feedback.
The Board voted unanimously to accept a $330 donation from the Danvers Garden Club for Arbor Day tree planting in accordance with MGL Chapter 44, section 53A.
