Danvers Home Sale Tops $1.4 Million as September Closings Hold Steady
Danvers recorded 15 property sales between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, according to Essex County Southern District Registry of Deeds data. Of those, 12 carry a sale price so far, ranging from $175,000 to $1.4 million, with a median of $760,000. The period's most notable transaction was a $1.4 million sale at 162 High St., sold by JJC General Contracting Inc. to Susan Usman, the only sale to top $1 million. Ten of the 12 priced sales fell between $500,000 and $1 million. Three transfers moved property between family members into a trust, with price data not yet available for those filings.
