DANVERS — Water & Sewer Commission unanimously approves financial update through February 2026. Business Manager Angelica Medina reported water cash receipts at $8,187,673, or 75.9 percent of the $10.79 million FY26 budget, and sewer receipts at $5,562,581, or 67.2 percent of the $8.27 million budgeted. Town Engineer Stephen King presented eight warrant articles totaling $2,191,503 for Select Board consideration, including $400,000 for Endicott Street Wastewater Generator Replacement and $621,503 from PFAS Settlement funds for Well 2 filtration design.
The commission endorsed projected sewer rate increases of 3 percent for FY27 and 2 percent annually thereafter, with potential larger increases in 2031 through 2033 pending new state legislation.
