DANVERS — Transportation Advisory Commission discusses 2025 crash and enforcement data. The commission reviewed 1,152 total motor vehicle crashes including one fatality, eight pedestrian incidents, and 25 bicycle crashes. Officers conducted 3,093 traffic stops resulting in 1,424 citations, 46 arrests, and 19 Operating Under the Influence of Liquor arrests.
The DPW was directed to review feasibility and cost of hardscape solutions such as curbing and barriers for a problematic crosswalk near 178 Maple Street where vehicles have mounted sidewalks.
