DANVERS — Select Board approves two one-day liquor licenses for school fundraisers. Chair Maureen A. Bernard and members Daniel C.
Bennett and Gardner S. Trask III voted 3-1 to grant wine and malt licenses to Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School for a Comedy Night on March 7 and Hike for a Change on May 30, with Michael D. Bean dissenting both times.
Town Engineer Stephen King presented Phase 1 of the Danvers Landfill Soil Project, which will shape and grade a 52.5-acre site off Route 1 to prepare for a future solar photovoltaic array. The Town Manager reported the largest snowstorm in years fully expended the snow budget; the board approved four Grant of Easement documents unanimously for sewer facility maintenance on Endicott Street and related properties.
