Select Board approves entertainment license; studies transfer station options.
Select Board · Meeting of February 17, 2026
DANVERS — Select Board unanimously approves entertainment license for Craft Kitchen. Owner George Tsatis was authorized to host musical bingo, trivia, and live music Monday through Saturday from 8:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M. and Sunday from noon to 3:00 P.M., with a maximum of two entertainers and no outdoor entertainment. Chair Maureen Bernard led a five-member board that also voted unanimously to adopt FY27 Budget Goals and Objectives, adding language that recognizes Danvers' historical heritage.
A consultant study of the town transfer station recommended against in-house operation, finding that taking over the facility would generate annual deficits between 3.7 million and 3.9 million dollars depending on whether the permit expands to include construction and demolition materials.
