Danvers Retirement Board rebalances $193.6M portfolio and approves new school position. The board unanimously adopted a revised Investment Policy Statement increasing International Equity and Core Fixed Income allocations while trimming Real Estate Core, a recommendation from Segal Marco Investment Manager Rafik Ghazarian. Retirement Administrator Cory Grace reported the fund gained $5,176,074 (2.7 percent return) for the period ending February 28.
In separate action, the board unanimously accepted a new Speech and Language Pathology Assistant position from the school district into membership; the role matches the 7.25-hour daily and 184-day annual schedule of existing Instructional Assistants. The board also unanimously approved four new members and two retirements, with all routine warrants and securities transactions approved unanimously; bills payable totaled $1.46 million for March.
