DANVERS — Municipal Light Board holds rates, approves 2024 audit and Q4 financials. Members Mike Landers and Steve Horn (Chair Bill Hayes absent) unanimously accepted the CY2024 CBIZ audit and CY2025 Q4 financial packet, finding the division profitable, solvent, and liquid. The board also unanimously approved maintaining April 2026 Power and Fuel Adjustment charges at $0.066 per kilowatt-hour for residential customers and $0.076 per kilowatt-hour for all other classes.
Utility Director Clint Allen reported that Kelly Kobrenski is the new Assistant Utility Director, the Cogsdale system is expected to go live in May 2026, and the division received APPA RP3 Diamond Status recognition at the end of March.
