Extended-Stay Hotel Site Slated for 88 Apartments in Danvers

DANVERS — An extended-stay hotel in Danvers is headed for conversion into an 88-unit apartment building, according to a Salem News report, marking one of the larger housing additions the town has seen discussed in recent months. Separately, the town's News Flash system warned residents Thursday that curbside yard waste pickups are running behind schedule.

TOWN HALL

The town's official News Flash system alerted residents on Thursday that Republic Services, the contractor responsible for curbside collection, has fallen behind on yard waste pickups. The notice did not provide a specific date by which the contractor expects to catch up, so residents whose bins or bags have not yet been collected should plan for continued delays in the near term.
