Danvers River Committee updated major waterway projects, pushing the dredging initiative to 2028 or 2029 due to lack of grant funding this year. Director Christopher Sanborn reported that the project, which requires $800,000 in pre-construction costs and $4 million to $7 million in construction, may ultimately require a Town Meeting Warrant Article to secure the town's funding share. The committee also heard that the Crane River Marina improvements should complete by May 15, and affirmed that waterways fee increases were justified.
The town implemented a new LynxLog permitting software system with late fees waived this season due to implementation delays.
