Danvers Transportation Advisory Committee · Meeting of September 30, 2026

Danvers Transportation Advisory Commission excluded Park Street from proposed downtown parking regulation changes. Residents objected to removing a one-hour parking restriction, citing speeding, enforcement gaps, and pedestrian safety concerns. The remaining downtown parking changes will advance to the Select Board on October 6, 2026.

The Commission also discussed accessibility audit findings from a Danversport walk audit conducted with Walk Massachusetts, which identified safety concerns near Route 128 crossings. Lieutenant Robert Sullivan agreed to coordinate traffic-monitoring data collection on Donegal Lane and Donegal Circle in response to resident speeding concerns.
