DANVERS — Danvers' municipal finances got a lift this week after S&P Global Ratings upgraded the town's general obligation bond rating to AAA from AA+, in a ratings action dated Aug. 8. The upgrade places Danvers among the highest-rated communities in Massachusetts and could translate into lower borrowing costs on future town debt.
