Danvers Council on Aging Board greenlights program expansion and Bistro growth. Director Matthew Mitchell reported the Transportation Revolving Account will receive $27,000 in approved TNC revenue, while the Program Revolving Account sits at $353,782.12. Two new fitness classes begin in June: Active Aging (Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 a.m.) and Strength and Balance (Tuesdays starting June 23).

The Bistro, which operated 81 days year-to-date in fiscal 2026, will add a third day per week with an expanded Nutrition Coordinator position; a part-time assistant is being sought. Patio Parties shift to daytime on third Thursdays, June through September, at $3 per entree. Mitchell is pursuing grants for a $15,000 actuator upgrade, with a decision deferred to the Friends board's September meeting.
