DANVERS — Conservation Commission defers mobile home park and biotech projects, approves school dining work. The Danvers Conservation Commission continued hearings on a proposed 24-unit mobile home park expansion at 96-98 Newbury Street and an Abiomed research facility addition at 54 Cherry Hill Drive to April 9, 2026, pending site visits. The Newbury Street project, presented by John Morin of Morin-Cameron Group on behalf of applicant Steven Tedesco of Temar Properties, LLC, seeks a waiver for approximately 2,650 square feet of work in the 35-50 foot no-build zone.
The Abiomed project would add approximately 9,180 square feet of new impervious surface within the 100-foot wetland buffer, prompting member concerns about stormwater mitigation and snow storage compliance. The commission unanimously issued a Negative Determination of Applicability for St. Johns Preparatory School's dining hall improvements at 65 Summer Street, which would reduce impervious surface by approximately 350 square feet.
