Conservation Commission approves contractor yard on Popes Lane
Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 14, 2026
DANVERS — Conservation Commission approves contractor-yard conversion on Popes Lane with three buffer waivers. Forest River Realty received conditional approval to convert a two-family residence to a contractor yard with 15 parking spaces and bulk material storage. The commission granted three waivers to allow work in the 35- and 50-foot wetland buffer zones, conditioned on relocating two parking spaces and submitting an updated site plan before the order's issuance.
The project must limit its three-year timeline to the approved design and include restoration of a removed shed's area with native plantings.
