Danvers Board of Health sets tobacco compliance enforcement date and updates disease programs. The board, led by Chair Dr. Thomas McLaughlin, MD, with members Sheila Laffy and Sandra Abbott, MPH, set July 1 as the start of tobacco product enforcement after a June 30 grace period for retailer compliance.
Public Health Nurse Judith Ryan reported 40 influenza cases and 22 suspected or confirmed Novel Coronavirus cases in Danvers. The board approved expanding naloxone box placement to schools, parks, and public areas, with nine new boxes ordered.
