Danvers Accessibility Commission votes Craig to full membership and reviews code enforcement. Chair J.D. Martz presided over the March 26 meeting, at which Building Commissioner Tim Hudon briefed the commission on 521 CMR (Massachusetts Architectural Access Board) enforcement, including renovation thresholds that trigger accessibility upgrades and common complaints such as parking signage and door pressure.
The commission voted unanimously to recommend Karen Craig as a full member, with four votes in favor and one abstention from Craig herself. The Film Festival, held that morning, featured three student entries on accessibility; the commission is planning a Human Library event for Saturday, October 11, and will use it as an opportunity to recruit new members.
